I’m Moises, a creative director and storyteller based in New Mexico, where I was born and raised. After years spent building my career on both coasts, returning to the high desert has given me a renewed perspective on the kind of work I want to create and the stories I want to tell.

For more than 20 years, I’ve helped fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands find their voice and bring it to life. My experience spans brand identity, integrated campaigns, art direction, photography, video, digital, retail, and packaging, with work for brands including Old Navy, Levi Strauss & Co., Avon, e.l.f. Beauty, Kenneth Cole, and Hanky Panky. Today, I work independently through Moises Chavez Creative, partnering with brands that value thoughtful ideas, strong visual storytelling, and creative that feels genuinely human.

I’ve always been curious and visually driven. I still find inspiration in the same things that first pulled me toward this career: fashion, beauty, music, contemporary art, magazines, books, and the landscapes and creative spirit of New Mexico. I love shaping the big idea, but I’m equally happy staying close to the making, from directing a shoot to refining the smallest detail.
